Lutine teams up with Cyclists Fighting Cancer in charity partnership

Lutine is excited to announce Cyclists Fighting Cancer (CFC) as its chosen charity for 2020.  As a passionate supporter of charitable causes and holding regular charitable cycling challenges, underlines CFC as the perfect partner for Lutine.

CFC, was founded as a charity in 2005 and provides young people affected by cancer and their families, with new bikes, tandems and specially adapted trikes to enable them to exercise, and in turn support the improvement of both their physical and mental wellbeing. Lutine will work together with CFC throughout the year to support fundraising activities and raise further awareness of CFC’s brilliant work.

Andy Coles, Lutine Director comments on the partnership:

“ The work which Mike’s charity does in helping kids regain their physical fitness, strength, mental wellness and confidence through giving them new bikes, is as inspiring as he is. Any man who sets a personal target of completing 20 Iron man triathlons in a year has our attention and respect!

So this year, we will be holding our annual Lutine Ride4Life challenge in July with even more members from across our business taking part in a long distance ride, grinding out miles to raise money for CFC . We’ll be announcing further details about this very soon.”

Mike Grisenthwaite, Cycling Fighting Cancer CEO and Cancer Exercise Specialist, said:

"CFC is a small charity making a massive impact on the lives of children living with and beyond cancer across the UK through exercise and activity. Our bikes and trikes provide motivation, excitement and fun whilst simultaneously providing the key benefits of physical and mental health.

We are super excited to be working in partnership with Lutine, the directors and company clearly share our core values, with their support we aim to help one thousand children in 2020."

Further to Lutine’s charitable commitments, the business has had a long-term dedication to supporting and raising awareness for better mental and physical wellbeing, and were recently proud to announce that they had taken the  step to offer all their group scheme members with complimentary access to their ‘Lifestyles’ benefit, providing online and face-to-face, practical and emotional assistance.
