Lutine goes the extra mile (or 128 miles) to help combat mental health

Andy Coles, Lutine Director

Lutine, the provider of individual and business protection products demonstrates it’s commitment to supporting those affected by mental health issues, by launching a Member Assistance Programme (MAP). The programme, which is now available to all Lutine assurance members, is part of what Director, Andy Coles says is part of a strategy of continuous improvement in the  support given to policyholders.

“MAP is designed to give practical support to both employers and employees at times of personal crisis, including face to face and telephone counselling 365 years a year. As a group life provider we  witness first-hand the tragic nature of premature end-of-life claims.    In today’s fast moving world, easy access to supporting products like MAP is becoming ever more important.”

Andy added that Lutine has been working in partnership with mental health charity MIND for the past two years, and is running yet another Ride4Life cycling challenge, following last year’s Paris to London event which raised over £7,000. To mark Lutine’s 30th anniversary since being established by a consortium of Lloyd’s of London Syndicates, the Ride4Life team will set off from their original Newhall Street offices, in Birmingham to London Leadenhall Market, near Lloyd’s. This year’s challenge takes place this Friday 12 July and has an ambitious fund raising target of £100,000, which will again go to support the great work carried out by the MIND charity. As a business we are totally committed to supporting an issue which is perennially underfunded from central government. It is vital that the private sector steps up to the plate to provide that support.
